Aurora Group comprises four companies, three of which are based in Abruzzo, and one in Emilia-Romagna. The group’s flagship is undoubtedly Sicma S.p.A., which has been designing and manufacturing agricultural machinery for soil cultivation for almost sixty years.
Eurocardan S.p.A., with over forty years of experience, now one of the leading manufacturers of cardan shafts and safety devices. In recent years, Eurocardan has consolidated a strategic partnership with BRM Gearboxes S.r.l., a company specialized in the design and production of high-performance gearboxes, based in Valsamoggia (BO), in Emilia-Romagna. Together, the two entities are able to offer integrated power transmission systems to the agricultural, forestry, and municipal sectors. Alfametal S.r.l. operates in the metal processing sector and represents a fundamental link in the group’s production chain.
Considering the various fields in which the companies operate, what are your flagship products?
Aurora Group, with its four companies, operates mainly in the agricultural mechanics sector, both in terms of machinery and components. Sicma agricultural machines sold worldwide are rotary tillers, mulchers and other types of machines designed and produced for vineyard cultivation, olive harvesting, and green maintenance. Eurocardan and BRM Gearboxes operate in the components market with particular reference to power transmission, where they are able to offer integrated systems composed of gearbox and pto-shaft (with advanced safety devices).
How did the collaboration between ISB and the Aurora Group companies begin?
Aurora Group was looking for partners capable of supplying quality components, reliable, characterized by prestigious know-how and great technical expertise; all to be able to offer its customers the best that can be produced in the various fields in which the companies operate. The collaboration with ISB began thanks to BRM Gearboxes, and immediately it proved to be profitable and satisfactory. This is why the other companies of the group decided to equip their products with ISB components.

What are your projects for the future?
Aurora Group is projected towards the future, open to new perspectives with constantly updated products and production processes. Evolutions of agricultural machines already on the market and new projects being finalized are planned (RA 230 gearbox produced by BRM Gearboxes, which will be able to meet the power transmission needs of prestigious international manufacturers). To do this we need high-quality components: this is why ISB bearings and components are present in our mechanical creations.
