G.B. Transmissions chooses ISB products
Mr. Vincenzo Vanni, G.B. Transmissions Managing Director, what does your company do?
Our company designs, produces and sells power transmission applications for agricultural machinery, construction machines, (off-highway) earth moving machines, material handling equipment … and much more!
What are your strengths?
Our company’s strengths are its flexibility, the decades of experience enjoyed by our new shareholders and the new management, our versatility and worldwide presence, with factories in Europe, China and the United States. We are also present in Italy with a far-reaching network of agents and dealers, which represents a clear advantage over our competitors.
How is the cooperation going between ISB and G.B. Transmissions?
It couldn’t be better! With ISB we have established an easy technical dialogue and speedy responses that are unique. The mutual respect that marks our business relations would make you think we have been working together for decades. The competence of ISB’s staff is something really special, it’s not easy to find this kind of approach in such an important business. Since the foundation of GBT, we have sold over 8,000 transmissions; according to the data collected by the previous management, most of the non-conformities reported by customers concerned the quality of parts like bearings, while today we have achieved a “zero” non-conformity rate.
What are the benefits of your cooperation with ISB?
In addition to the production speed and easy dialogue, we have certainly seen an undisputed product quality and high technical skills among the staff, with 360° support worthy of a racing department. Working with ISB is like working with one of our own departments. Not just a supplier, but an authentic partner.
What are your plans for the future?
In the past few months we have developed three new transmissions, with cutting-edge concepts in this sector. All of the ISB product ranges we use in our transmissions have an excellent reputation; the aim is to replace all the PN products with ISB, in both Class A and B. We plan to complete this task by the second quarter of 2017. After that, all we will have to worry about is tightening the screws to seal the transmissions correctly.
