DESCRIPTION
This type of ISB tapered roller thrust bearing can withstand axial loads in both directions. The two housing-piloted washers have tapered raceways and a guide flange; the shaft-piloted washer is flat. This means these bearings are able to withstand slight shaft eccentricity with respect to the housing bore.
ADVANTAGES
If the shaft-piloted washer is firmly attached, double direction tapered roller thrust bearings offer satisfactory performance and a suitable life.
